Firstly, I was a little surprised that the box of 100 SafetyGel sachets arrived in just their clearly branded product box, i.e. no extra cover packaging. Personally I don't have an issue with that but I can imagine that some people may prefer less obvious packaging. My main concern was that the carboard box is not very strong at all and although mine arrived okay (with all the contents enclosed) I can imagine that it would not stand up to some postal journeys. Although intact, my box showed some signs of damage along the edges. I thought it worth mentioning this point.The SafetyGel sachets are only tiny but their contents expand the moment you put them into liquid, and they can absorb an insane amount of liquid. The manufacturers claim up to 1.2ltrs per sachet, and of course you could always use more than one sachet if deemed necessary. In our tests a single sachet easily absorbed a full litre of liquid (which was coloured water for the sake of the photos and video).The main uses for this type of product are obviously in the 'caring/nursing/hospital' environment, but their natural ability to 'soak up' huge amounts of liquid opens up other uses, or for occasional accidents if prone to lack of control or incontinence etc. I was incredibly impressed at how well they worked when I tested just a single sachet. When I read that the tiny sachet could absorb over a litre of liquid I frankly was rather sceptical... but my scepticism was totally unfounded.This is an excellent product that does 'exactly what it says on the box' and it's going to be essential for the intended purposes. You don't have to even open the sachet, just drop it into a container where the liquid is going to be and the 'magic' happens without even having to touch anything. It goes without saying that these should be stored in a dry area, and kept away from children, pets etc. for safety's sake.The price of just under £24 for the box of 100 sachets is, in my opinion, really excellent value. Definitely a 5 Star rated product.
Worked well in a stoma bag but as it turned all the liquid into a 'jelly' like substance it wasn't as easy to empty the bag. Ideal for the early days of having a stoma bag or days out & when output tends to be more liquid. This can help prevent leaks.
They work amazing in urine bottles and stops spilling. Used them all and it does what is says great Effectiveness
Use it within a disposable urine bottle for an elderly man. Product is as expected, no spill.Only issue with a lot of products in Amazon, unreliable delivery as out of stock
Dont absord as much as they make out. Sometimes a sachet wont work. But i find other brands much worse. Even though i find i use many sachets a night, the box still lasts a long time.Good value.

If you have a dog. a few of these in your doggies walking bag, can be extremely useful.occasionally my dog has a doggy tummy. usually due to my other half, giving him tip bits he should not have. so a sachet of these help to solidify his motion. making it far easier healthier to clean up.
I've had an operation and these have been a God send, they really do what is stated on the box, really pleased with this purchase.
A bit bulky, but far better than anything else I've tried.
Incredible what this little sachet can do to liquid....Has really helped elderly relative and reduced stress in their daily needs
